It is not recommended to rent a car to go around Erhai Lake. The electric car rented outside cannot enter Erhai Lake. It is better to take a taxi to Longkan Wharf and rent a shared electric car or bicycle inside. The shared electric car is 15r/h, and some locals will rent you a bicycle for 20r/day.

April: The weather warms up, the wind is strong, but the sky is gloomy and foggy, and it will return to blue after the rain. The wisteria flowers are in bloom, and seagulls are basically not seen. At this time, you can participate in the grand event of “March Street”.
May & June: The sky is blue and the water is clear, the temperature is comfortable, and the jacarandas are in full bloom. It is a good time to visit Erhai Lake.
July & August: It is the rainy season, but the scenery is still beautiful when it is sunny. At this time, Cangshan Mountain is misty and foggy. It is suitable to go to the gentle slopes in the mountains to enjoy the scenery and pick mushrooms 🍄, and you can also taste the freshness of fresh mushrooms.
September: The temperature is pleasant, mainly sunny, but it rains heavily when it rains. It is suitable for traveling after the rain, and you can see the rainbow beside Erhai Lake 🌈. The scenery is good but nothing special.
🔟: It is cold in the morning and evening, with many sunny days and a clean and blue sky. The Xizhou rice fields are a beautiful golden yellow 🌾. The scenery is very beautiful at this time, but it is the peak season for travel, and there are many people at the scenic spots.
